Hemsworthy Gate, Widecombe in the Moor, Dartmoor National Park

Try a circular walk taking in Top Tor, Pil Tor, Tunhill Rocks and Wittaburrow. The views down to Widecombe-in-the-Moor and across to Dartmoor's south plateau are awesome.
Wander up to the top of Rippon Tor. In our opinion, this provides the biggest and best views in the local area.
Visit Emsworthy Local Nature Reserve. It's known for its Spring showing of bluebells.
Walk out to Buckland Beacon and The Ten Commandments Stones. Many think the views from up there are the best in the National Park.
Explore the Saddle Tor, Haytor Rocks and Haytor Down area including the Templer Way and Haytor Granite Tramway.
