1. Discover some of Dartmoor's internationally important prehistoric sites.
2. Walk the National Park's north moor and summit some of its finest tors.
3. Explore Fernworthy Forest.
4. Visit Chagford.
5. Spend a day at the National Trust's Castle Drogo and Teign Gorge.
6. If you have kids, take a trip to the Miniature Pony Centre.
7. From there, follow the B3212 into the heart of Dartmoor National Park at Postbridge and Princetown.
8. Explore the Widecombe-in-the-Moor area and stand on top of Haytor Rocks.
