Didworthy, Dartmoor National Park
1. Explore the National Park's south moor. Walk to Avon Reservoir, Eastern and Western White Barrows and Three Barrows.
2. Discover Dartmoor's internationally important prehistory.
3. Visit the family attractions around Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. Enjoy Buckfast Abbey, South Devon Railway, Dartmoor Otters and Buckfast Butterflies and Pennywell Farm.
4. Spend a day at Dartmoor Zoo.
5. Lunch at one of the pubs in the local area. Try The Treby Arms in Sparkwell and The Miners Arms in Hemerdon.
6. Take trips to the National Trust's Hembury Woods and Saltram House.
7. Picnic and wild swim at Deeper Marsh/Spitchwick Common. We'd also recommend wandering into the sublime Dart Gorge.
8. Visit Plymouth and Exeter.
9. Head east to The English Riviera.
10. Tour South Devon's remarkable coastline.
