Trowlesworthy Stone Row (East), Shaugh Prior, Dartmoor National Park

There are a couple of stone rows situated below the Trowlesworthy Tors on the south western border of Dartmor National Park. The western stone row runs east/west. The eastern row runs pretty much north/south. The eastern row is more impressive and is topped by a circle of stones and bisected by a leat. Both sets of stone rows are visible on Google's satellite imagery.

We've positioned Trowlesworthy Stone Row (East) on Google maps so zoom in on the 'Satellite' setting to see its location.

To visit, head for the car parking area by Blackaton Cross. This is south east of Cadover Bridge and is marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer OL28 'Dartmoor' map. Wander around the edge of the China Clay Works to avoid boggy moorland created by Blacka Brook.
