Dartmoor Railway at Okehampton Station in Okehampton

Dartmoor Railway is based at Okehampton Station in Okehampton on the north west border of Dartmoor National Park. Once the railway station for Okehampton, today Dartmoor Railway specialises in leisure trips.

Heritage trips and special events run through the year. Heritage trips include The Sunday Rover that runs between Exeter and Okehampton and the Dartmoor Railway Okehampton Station to Meldon Viaduct service. Special events include Murder Mystery Dinner, Summer Story Trains and The Polar Express Train Ride. Refer to the Dartmoor Railway website for times.

Even if you don't want to ride on one of the train trips, Dartmoor Railway's Okehampton Station is a cool place. There's a tea room in which to enjoy the experience.

 

Summer Sundays 2019

'Summer Sundays between Okehampton and Exeter. We will be running trains between Okehampton and Exeter every Sunday from 19 May until 8 September 2019.
