Castle Drogo Visitor Centre and Cafe, Chagford, Dartmoor National Park
To reach Castle Drogo by vehicle, you follow a long driveway from the Sandy Park/Drewsteignton road to the National Trust property. There's a spacious car park and the purpose built Castle Drogo Visitor Centre and Cafe. Stood in front of the building, you'll see the cafe in a wing of the building to your left. There's a shop to your right. The centre also provides local information and toilets.
The centre backs onto Castle Drogo Gardens. It reconnects with the driveway to take you by foot to the entrance of Castle Drogo.
The cafe does a great cream tea and there's a children's play area outside.
