Ramsley Hill and Ramsley Common, South Zeal, Dartmoor National Park

Ramsley is a cluster of houses and a farm on the edge of the village South Zeal. Ramsley Hill and Ramsley Common overlook the village and provide stunning views south west to Cosdon Hill.

There's parking on the eastern side of Ramsley Hill and Ramsley Common. It's also on the Taw-Teign Link which connects with the Tarka Trail at Sticklepath.

To visit, drive the old Okehampton to Whiddon Down road below the modern A30. When you get to Ramsley on the edge of South Zeal, turn south. You'll very shortly come to the parking area.

Alternatively, park in South Zeal and grab some lunch in the King's Arms or Oxenham Arms before following the Taw-Teign Link to Ramsley Hill and Ramsley Common.
