Lee Moor, Shaugh Prior, Dartmoor National Park

Lee Moor, Shaugh Prior, Dartmoor National Park

Lee Moor is in the southern section of Dartmoor National Park. It drops from the high south moor down to Whitehill Yeo China Clay Works, Lee Moor China Clay Works and Shaugh Lake China Clay Works. To the west are the Trowlesworthy Tors and the Trowlesworthy Stone Rows. Beyond those are Cadover Bridge and the Dewerstone Valley. The moor here takes in a section of the Upper Plym Valley (English Heritage). The River Plym flows north and west of the moor.

We've positioned Lee Moor on Google maps so zoom in on the 'Satellite' setting to see its location.

To explore Lee Moor, we'd recommend starting from one of the many car parking areas between Cadover Bridge and Blackaton Cross. The main car parking areas are marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer OL28 'Dartmoor' map. Many more are visible on Google's satellite imagery.
