Dartmoor Brewery, Princetown, Dartmoor National Park

Dartmoor Brewery, Princetown, Dartmoor National Park

England's highest brewery, Dartmoor Brewery is situated below North Hessary Tor and TV Station near Princetown National Park Visitor Centre, Dartmoor Prison and Dartmoor Prison Museum.

In early 2016, Dartmoor Brewery opened a shop on site. We'd urge you to try Jale Ale, Dartmoor IPA, Legend Cask Ale and Dartmoor Best whilst on holiday in Dartmoor. It also stocks t-shirts, rugby shirts, hoodies and beer gift packs.

If you're cycling the Granite and Gears Princetown Railway Cycling Routes, you'll see the brewery on your right as you leave Princetown.

The brewery was built at the old Princetown railway yard for the dismantled Princetown Railway (Princetown to Yelverton Railway). We've positioned Dartmoor Brewery on Google maps so zoom in on the 'Satellite' setting to see its location.

The tor you see on their bottles and marketing material is Great Staple Tor which is just down the road from Princetown. It's one of Dartmoor's most photographed tors, provides remarkable views and is a reasonably easy walk away from car parking areas on the B3357.
