Easdon Hill, North Bovey, Dartmoor National Park

Easdon Down is, roughly speaking, a circular island of moorland. It rises to a broad, flat ridge. Easdon Tor and Whooping Rock are to the west of the ridge. The granite stack of Figgie Daniel is to the east. The Ordnance Survey Explorer OL28 'Dartmoor' map marks the east side as Easdon Hill. As such, we use the name Easdon Hill as a convenient reference point.

When you visit, you'll walk a wide, grass track between Easdon Tor to the west and Easdon Hill to the east. This track is clearly visible on Google's satellite imagery.

See our Easdon Tor listing for directions and additional information.
