Broad Amicombe Hole, Lydford, Dartmoor National Park

Broad Amicombe Hole is marked on the Harvey British Mountain Map ‘Dartmoor’ map. It’s a steep-sided valley between Amicombe Hill and Great Kneeset just south of Lints Tor. Grass paths run across Amicombe Hill to Broad Amicombe Hole and up to Great Kneeset. You’ll often find Ten Tors teams practicing here during the winter. Paths run north to a crossing point on the West Okement River near Kneeset Nose. Avoid the moor south of Broad Amicombe Hole as it leads to the boggy area around Dinger Pool.
