Sharp Tor (South Dartmoor), Harford, Dartmoor National Park

This tor rises above the rare high altitude oak woodlands Piles Copse in the southern section of Dartmoor National Park. The views over Piles Copse/Piles Valley to Stalldown Barrow and the remote south moor are amazing. Three Barrows are, roughly speaking, to the north. The Two Moors Way passes nearby. If you're walking the latter then we'd recommend popping across to Sharp Tor (South Dartmoor) to enjoy the views.

We've positioned Sharp Tor (South Dartmoor) on Google maps so zoom in on the 'Satellite' setting to see its location. Head for the car parking area at Harford Moor Gate. Wander across the moor to Sharp Tor which is visible in front of you.
