Dunsford Local Nature Reserve, Dunsford, Dartmoor National Park

Run by the Devon Wildlife Trust in woods owned by the National Trust, Dunsford Nature Reserve is best known for its early show of wild daffodils at the onset of Spring.

We'd recommend this Dunsford Wood Wild Daffodil Circular Walk.

To visit Dunsford Nature Reserve, head for Steps Bridge near Dunsford village. There's a small car park on the west side of the bridge as the road climbs. There's also plenty of parking along the side of the road to the east of the bridge towards Dunsford village.

In the area, make sure you take the Teign Gorge Circular Walk and visit the National Trust's Castle Drogo. The views from Blackingstone Rock are amazing as are those from Mardon Down.
