Come and get up-close and personal with our 'unusual creatures’. We will tailor a one or two hour session especially for you so that your family can discover the magic and beauty of our collection of reptiles, spiders and other creepy crawlies.
You will be able to learn about their natural habitat, hold Spot and Stripe our ball pythons, feel the many legs of Millie the Giant African Millipede, watch how Joanna the Ackie Monitor hunts for food and have Keeley our Chile Rose Tarantula crawl across your hand. Of course, you may just want to watch from a distance and that’s fine too. You may also get a chance to meet the stars of our show, Maddie and Gazza, our friendly 7 foot Dumerils Boas, previously owned by British Naturalist and TV presenter Nick Baker.
In addition to our wonderful reptiles, bugs and inverts we are also able to arrange owl encounters to enable you to see close up the beauty of these creatures and also experience the owls in flight. We can also offer full falconry days at nearby Dartmoor Hawking or combine a Reptile and Falconry experience to make a truly memorable and unique visit to Dartmoor.
