Dartmoor National Park is known for its rich prehistory. From burial chambers to stone rows, standing stones to enigmatic stone circles, visitors come from around the world to see its ancient monuments and settlements. There are also many interesting features from later periods. If you like walking, we'd recommend exploring the sites of Dartmoor's Iron Age hillforts. There's a cluster of hillforts in the north eastern section of the National Park in the Castle Drogo/Chagford area. Nattadon hillfort is one of these.
