Fernworthy Assycombe Stone Row, Chagford, Dartmoor National Park

Fernworthy Assycombe Stone Row, Chagford, Dartmoor National Park

One of Dartmoor National Park's more understated stone rows, Fernworthy Assycombe Stone Row is tucked away in a clearing in the Assycombe section of Fernworthy Forest.

We've positioned Fernworthy Assycombe Stone Row on Google maps so zoom in on the 'Satellite' setting to see its location. To visit, refer to a copy of the Ordnance Survey Explorer OL28 'Dartmoor' map. You'll see lots of forestry tracks running off the main tarmac road that skirts Fernworthy Reservoir. We'd recommend walking from the main car park at the entrance to Fernworthy Forest although there are many other smaller parking areas along that road. Take the Ordnance Survey map as it's easy to get lost.

The stones are visible on Google's satellite imagery. Browse our photos as well.
