Winter Tor, Belstone, Dartmoor National Park
Winter Tor is one of the high number of rocky outcrops on the broad ridge extending south of Watchet Hill by Belstone. On the western flank of the ridge, Winter Tor is less visited than Belstone Tors, Higher Tor and Oke Tor. Henry's Ford and East Okement Farm are below.

To visit, we'd recommend walking in from the Okehampton Camp side of the north moor. Drive to Okehampton Camp and continue towards East Okement Farm. There's parking above Cullever Steps. Leave your vehicle and cross Cullever Steps and follow the army road as it curls south to the foot of Winter Tor. It's a short, sharp yomp up the side of the moor to the outcrops.
